The Manufacturer Profile is considered to be better than the Generic profile, but the Capture One profile is considered better than the Manufacturer Profile.

The bottom line is that you have a choice and you are free to choose what you like.

"...The Manufacturer Profile is considered to be better than the Generic profile, but the Capture One profile is considered better than the Manufacturer Profile...." - considered by whom ? I personally consider Manufacturer Profiles consistently better for my purposes than Capture One profiles

"There doesn't seem to be a lot of difference between the two, but I'm definitely not a pixel peeper." - try to pixel peel and you will see... as a fellow Fuji user I suggest you to stick with manufacturer profiles.

Thanks, as it's one less step in the workflow, that's what I'll do.

I would choose Manufacturer Profile as this is the profile embedded by Fuji within the Raw file. I expect that Fuji knows a lot more about their lenses characteristics than anyone else.
