Proof view sRGB vs. Adobe RGB
Dear C1 users,
I'm a bit unsure about the proof view in C1. My setup is a Win10 PC with a Benq SW2700PT Wide Gamut monitor which is able to display about 99% Adobe RGB color space.
When I import a RAW photo from my Fujifilm X-T3 I understand that color space in camera does not matter. My further understading is that I can view the image in C1 the way it will look exported when I use the proof view and select the export receipt in the processing tab.
What makes me unsure is that nothing changes if I switch between an export receipt with Adobe RGB and a receipt with sRGB. Shouldn't there be visible a slight change in colors when I switch between the two export color spaces in proof view? How would I otherwise be able to check how the exported image would look like in sRGB on a sRGB monitor?
Please excuse if I'm mixing up things completely. But shouldn't the change in color space also show a change in the colors of the photo? Or is the difference between AdobeRGB and sRGB that subtle that one would not realy notice that in everday use?

If all the colors of your picture are included in sRGB (which is usual), there is no reason to see any change between your two exports.

Yes the colors should be changing but the change can be hard to see depending on the colors involved.
Try adding some color readout points to the image (drop down list in cursor tool bar third from right edge).
The values should change as you switch profiles.0 -
Yes, the values will change because the color space is different (and thus the coding of the color). In two different color spaces, identical color have different RGB values.
