Available space in capture incorrect

Hi, 

I'm using capture v20 for a job, the issue I'm having is; on the MacBook, it shows over 400gb available but in  capture, it says only 80gb available space. I've checked the bin and it's empty, it's really slowing the whole program down

 

does anayone know why this might be?
