Image Ratings and Variants

I am running C1 Pro for windows on 2 computers - laptop and desktop.

On the laptop, image ratings are copied with the variants.  In other words, if I create a variant of a 1 star image, the variant also has a 1 star rating.

On the desktop, the rating is not carried over to the variant.

I can remember setting up this option on the laptop some time ago, but now I cannot remember how I accomplished this.  Can anyone refresh my memory and point me to where this option lives within C1?

    I'm not aware of a setting for this. In my experience

    • cloning a variant copies over the rating 
    • creating a new variant does not.

    Thanks for the reply,  but I can definitely say that the behavior that I am seeing on my two devices is happening with variants as well as clones.
