batch rename crash

Capture One 20 software crashes every time batch rename.  running the latest Capture 20 13.1.2.37 in High Sierra on a Mac 2010 Imac.  I think it started about 2-3 updates ago if not with the first version on 20.  In the past, I had used this function often with perfect success.   thanks for any help.  Jon
