Using cmd-del deletes images from the catalogue and from the disk.

    Thx Walter for your input.

To be quite frank, I don’t really know what an album is. I was going through my folders searching for raw files I should delete. I selected them and thought I had sent them to catalogue trash by cmd-del. The files disappeared from the catalogue but still remained in finder, and I could not empty catalogue trash.

I used to work with Lightroom, but changed to Capture One at the urging of Fujifilm. So far I have found the programme overly complicated and completely unintituitive. That is fine, there is usually a learning curve. So thanks for helping me.

    So what went wrong?

Thank you Walter for your patience.

I am quite sure I followed the correct procedure. It went wrong. I have tried it again and it worked as expected. Strange.

I guess I have to keep at it.
