    Tell us what you tried.

The setting in Preferences -> General -> Catalog Backup is likely meant for what it says.

There is no provision for session backups in C1.

You need to use an external backup program or just copy the session folder manually to another place.

I use the free Microsoft SyncToy program:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=15155

Does not officially support Win10 but I never had a problem with it.

Yes it is. When CO1 upgrade the version of the database, a backup of the xxx.cosession.db  is produced. So why it is not possible for a user to activate this process ?
