    I'm surprised at that.

This is the relevant link on the C1 site: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002583418

It does apply it more in the corners, but you can still see mild sharpening being applied in the center by the time the slider reaches 100.

Ah - there's the issue. I think most (e.g. Paul Reiffer) would argue that while the slider goes up to 100, one would rarely if ever use to to that degree.

They're your images and it's entirely your judgement, but are you corners in need of that much sharpening?

If they do need it and the centres of your images can't take the sharpening they get as a result, maybe 50 on the lens Correction Sharpness slider plus some more sharpening using the ordinary sharpening tool applied via a really soft radial gradient mask on a layer?

    All the best

    Shane

Thanks, Shane. Since a setting of 100 is a full correction for distortion and light falloff, I assumed 100 is full correction for sharpness and not overcorrection. Not really an issue as the amount applied in the center is mild even at 200, I'm just trying to understand the logic behind the sharpness slider so that I'm using it correctly.
