Make brush/tool settings always visible

Changing tool settings is tedious and not-intuitive. And all to often you have to open the tool settings window just to see what the current settings are bc they were set in another image. This could be mitigated by not using a pop up window to set or change crop setting or brush settings, but by making them always visible in the toolbar or tool pallets whenever the tool is selected.

  Such a feature should not replace the pop-up dialogue because it is quicker to manipulate the sliders of a pop-up dialogue which appears where the mouse cursor already is than it is to travel to a fixed location and back again.

  Well, both is fine with me. But the pop up has the obvious disadvantage of not being able to see crop ratios for example, and other brush settings without clicking every time. Full time settings window is the superior of the two.
