Tethered images also saved to camera? New feature?
I recently updated to the newest Capture One version and had a shooting afterwards - and to my amazement the images were stored on the computer AND the Camera as well (on both SD-cards).
Has there been a recent change in this behavior?
Until recently I though this was not possible?
It's awesome and solves a lot of problems for me regarding on location backups - but I can't find anything about this in the release notes?

I don’t think C1 has any control over storing to card.
Maybe you changed a camera setting somehow?

There are some manufacturer and camera model specific devices that will allow the appropriate dual capture as you may know. Not always to all cards though, from what I have read and heard.
There was a recent webinar about tethering that touched on the subject of tethering
Of course with "Hot Folder" type tethering and some form of camera to computer comms (cable or network) that storage approach has always been possible - but the tethering functionality is constrained in what it can offer.

Well it's entirely possible that with a recent camera firmware update and resetting/changing a few setting I've accidentally "enabled" this - but I'm really glad I did.
I have a hunch as to what setting it might have been - with Fuji cameras there's a setting for "auto tethering" and "fixed tethering" and it would seem like auto-tethering transfers the images but also stores them on the SD cards.
Sorry to bother you, I didn't think it would be a camera specific thing.0 -
Check the last David Grover webinar about Tethering. A few days ago.
I seem to recall this was covered then so there may be something more to hear about even if only a hint rather than an in depth Fuji analysis. (It was about Tethering in general not a camera specific session.)

Yeah it looks like it is actually a camera function that I have not yet used (or that has been introduced by the latest Firmware update).
