Create custom metadata field

Hello,

Can I create a custom metadata field in capture one? This field is so an asset management software can sort assets.

    No.

    But you may be able to use an existing otherwise unused field?

    How that might be populated efficiently in C1 for the purpose you have in a different DAM might be a challenge.

    Thanks for you comment. No another field won't work. The title of the field has to be specific, so that the DAM can sort the asset.

    OK,  but if the DAM can populate the required field and has a filter facility it should be possible filter on the field populated in Capture One and use the list of assets returned to apply the required entry to the DAM field.

    Might the DAM also have a "conversion" option for field to field updates to deal with incompatibilities between systems?
