How to edit Description of multiple images?

Is there any way to edit the Description field for multiple images simultaneously?

    Add the Description to one image, copy and apply (using the diagonal double arrow at the top of the metadata window) to selected images. 

    Note: In some versions of Capture One, this resulted (at least for me) in appending the changes rather than replacing them. If this happens, you must delete the description and copy the blank entry to the images before entering the edited description.
