what OS needs to be used here?

  Hi Donna,

  The answer is no. There are few development softwares working under Linux. I know only darktable and RawTherapee, but definitively not Capture One.

  Gimp will certainly work under Linux. It's a few years now since I used to use it (and not under Linux anyway) but I suspect that for working with raw files, Darktable or Raw Therapee would be better.
