Where is the forum for C1 21 beta comments (under NDA)
I'm testing the C1 21 beta and I want to know how/where to report issues and possible bugs.

You're told how in the NDA.

The NDA and Release Notes say this....
Reporting a bug
When reporting beta bugs, please use the built-in functionality from ‘Help > Report a bug...’.Please do not send beta bugs directly to Support. This is pretty useless if the application has refused to load.
There needs to be a separate mechanism that is monitored by the Development team so problems get resolved in the Beta process. If this had happened then the debacle with the release of COP v20.1 would not have occurred.

L.S.
My name is Roeland van Duijsen, photographer in The Netherlands for about 25 years.
From 2006 I used Adobe Lightroom but the last years I’m searching for a better program to use for my photography due to some shortcommings in LR and the changing to yearly payment.
The last reason for this search is that I changed from Nikon to Fujifilm camera and to my suprise is LR not really good in working with Fujifilm Raws.
So after trying out C1for some times, I’m now testing C1 21 Beta to see if this could be a possible solution for me.
At the moment I have use C1 Beta for about a month and have some questions and/or remarks:
At installing C1 I think it’s better to give the possibility to choose a standard location for the catalog with maybe the original files. When using the standard installation these are written on the c: (system drive) under users\name\pictures which is not handy. In my case I wanted to use my complete collection with C1 with result that my 500 gig ssd could not be imported.
Browser
The scrollbar and scrollbar arrow are verry small and thus not so easy to select and use, this is specific for the tool library.
Memory
C1 21 uses verry much memory. While not editing it uses between 1118 MB and 1500 MB; during editing it uses between 3252 MB and 4000 MB; when importing files it takes around 3174 MB to 3360 MB. More editing uses about 4500 MB and higher.
Import
While importing files from my photo ssd some of the .jpg and .tif files don’t show the previews, don’t know what the reason is for this. After selecting and importing they are shown in the browser.
The description ‘Copy in to catalog’ could better be ‘Copy to catalog’ and ‘Add to catalog’ to ‘Move to catalog’ because in the latter one moves the files to a new location including the originals and the possibility to make a backup.
Catalog
How to remove old catalogs?
Folders maps
Why can’t I see the total of files from the map and sub-maps? Total files are only visible when it is a map without sub-maps, its a bit frustrating to have to open everytime all the sub-maps.
