License key not accepted

Using Windows 7, just downloaded and made an account for Capture One. 

I can get past the login screen successfully, but when it asks for the license key, I put in my express license key and it just shows a red triangle with a "!" in it. I started the 30 day trial and tried that license key and get the same error. 

Why is the license key given not accepted? Thanks

 

EDIT:

Nevermind. I solved this issue by buying a subscription to Lightroom.

  It's not that. I successfully did that and was able to get past the login screen.
