Layers update to several images

Hi!
I've seen many posts about this but no solution as of yet, or I missed one.

Since C1 13, layers cannot be updated anymore, or I just don't know how.
I create a layer on an image, and copy/paste it to other images in the batch...and then I make a slight tweak (let's say change contrast a bit) to the layer and wish for that tweak to be updated to the layer on other images, I just can't do it. In C1 12 layer on other images would be simply updated with copy/paste. NOW, I need to manually tweak all the other image's layer. If there is 100 images in the batch, I need to manually update All the images.
Sure, I could save settings as "style" but come on, still it's a nasty time consuming workaround.

Sure, I could just copy/paste layers, but that means additional (updated) layer will be added to all the other images' layer.
..pretty stupid really.

Is there any option available?
