deleting multiple files from a folder t once

I was going thru some older files in my folders and found that there were a number I no longer wanted  I tried to delete in C1 but had to do so 1 at a time  In adobe bridge I could do multiples at once  These are files I no longer need  I deleted them in Bridge but they remain in the folder file in C1 but with a warning next to them indicating they are missing  I want to clean these out of the catologue but not just one at a time   Too laborious

  I'm not sure if you're doing it wrong, or if something's broken, but I can delete multiple files easily.  Select multiple files, (hold CTRL) hit delete.

  Is the "Edit Selected" toggle active?
