Mac auto updated to Big Sur. Tried to open capture one & I can't activate it
I tried to activate my license, but I can't remember my profile password & the option to have it emailed to me isn't working. I get a message saying that the password will be emailed, but it doesn't arrive. And no it's not in my junk folder.
Is the only way to fix my inability to open capture one to contact apple about uninstalling big sur?

At a guess I'd say if you have a proper backup and can re-install your whole disk from it then Capture One will work as I assume it puts a file on your disk when you initially authorized it and uses that in future to confirm validity. I you don't have a proper backup and have to erase your whole Big Sur volume and reinstall Catalina from scratch then Capture One will need you to give it the authorization code when you launch again. In short no better off than before.
Think it would be best if you Contact Support and establish your credentials and they will tell you how to proceed.
EDIT Now that I think of it when I updated to one of the early Big Sur betas Capture One and indeed none of my programs needed to have their licenses confirmed.
