That is definitely removable with the healing brush tool. In the layers panel, select the healing tool (icon looking like a band-aid) brush over the spot and you're done. If you don't like the result, you can drag the source point that Capture One selected to a different place to get a different result.

Ian, thank you for your reply.

I did try to heal the spot, but C1 acts strangely , I did not succeed to erase the lightest spot; I tried it a few other moments and I deed succeed.... C1 not consistent ?

Another strange effect I see, in using the healing tool, is that the healed spot stays lighter than the area I clone from, even as this area is much darker......

All this in RAW; my computer too old? iMac 5K late 2014, AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4 GB....

Not to do with the age of the computer, I'm sure.

When you use the heal tool (or the clone tool) it is worth right clicking to see the brush parameters, and check that the flow and opacity are both at 100%.

Also, with the clone tool, you should get an exact copy of the source to the target. But with the heal tool, the result will depend on the lightness of the target area - Capture One tries to blend it in rather than producing an exact like for like copy.

I used the heal tool on your photo, and as you can see, the source was very similar to the desired target. I made sure I used a fairly soft brush and brushed over an area slightly larger than the light spot.

That healing is not bad and its greatest feature is edibility.

Just a thought...when you activate the healing brush, right click to see the brush settings and make sure flow and opacity are set to 100%.
