foto's importeren/catalogus maken

Heb bescheiden aantal mappen met sub mappen met Titels, datum en locatie gegevens in de naamgeving van de map.   Voorbeeld. Hoofdmap (2020) sub map (Januari, Februari, etc) foto map (onderwerp, locatie, plaats, etc)    Als CO deze foto's importeert neemt hij dan ook de naamgeving mee, of is het verstandiger deze weg te laten?

    I have a similar folder organisation. If you import the folders in with current location selected then the folder structure will be seen the same in Capture One. This is what I have done, ie have retained my original folder structure. If you do want to reorganise the folder structure I suggest that you do it before you import into the catalogue as it is more painful to do it after as you will need to drag folders around within Capture One. 

    The one thing I would say is that if you have a very complex folder structure (many sub folders) then it may be wise to simplify it a bit before import. The reason for this is that once imported selection of a top level folder will only show the images in that folder and will not show all the pictures in the sub folders, ie Capture One will only show the files in the selected folder.

    Mark. Dank voor de uitleg. Hiermee kan ik verder werken aan mijn nieuw op te zetten catalogus. Ik zal - veiligheid halve-  wel eerst een kopie van de bedoelde foto's en mappen op een ander schijf  op een ander maken. Daarna zal ik e.e.a. proberen te organiseren binnen de omgeving van CO. Dank voor nu. Groet
