+ 1 As a landscape oriented photographer, this feature is essential for me, and the sole reason why I'm still relying on other software for DAM. It severely convolutes my workflow.

As a Fuji shooter, I really want to switch to Capture One, but this missing feature is still keeping me from making the switch (I want a real Google Maps (or OSM) integration, not just an editable GPS field).

It would be EXTREMELY useful to be able to select an area on the map and view all photos I’ve taken within that area. The ability to automatically geotag photos using a trackline saved from my handheld gps and the time in my photo’s exif data would also be helpful when shooting with multiple cameras on a trip. The Canon Camera Connect app works to tag photos on one camera, but also drains my phone battery. It would be much better to just use the trackline created by my handheld gps unit and be able to tag all photos from multiple cameras.

+10000 - This missed feature in C1 is a must in my workflow for keying photos, helping me delivery photo as a F1 photographer. Actually only LR allow me to specify with GPS data in which stand, which corner I took that shot.

Not a lot of design research, just do the same look and feel of what you see in LR since many years.
