What if I delete raw files directly from File Explorer? (Instead of from Session Folders within Capture One)
Within the Capture Folder, I know that I can use Alt-Delete to "Delete from Disk" to delete files immediately instead of moving them to the Trash Folder. But I find that this operation is pretty slow (when dealing with hundreds of files at once), much slower than deleting from Windows File Explorer directly. Not only that, files deleted with "Delete from Disk" is unrecoverable, whereas if I delete from File Explorer, it goes to the recycle bin.
So is there ANY advantage to "Delete from Disk"? Or rather, is there any consequences to Capture One if I delete a file from File Explorer?
So far I only found a very tiny drawback: there are leftover files in the Cache subfolder (Proxies and Thumbnails) that doesn't get cleaned up automatically. Is there anything else I should be aware of?

If you are using a session, you can just delete images (within Capture One) and they will go to the session trash. If you think you might have second thoughts about deleting, that is a good thing because you can drag them back out from the trash to another folder, and they will come with their adjustments. That is better than the system trash, because it would be comparatively hard to get them back with their adjustments from the system trash. When you know that you are sure you don't want them back you can empty the session trash.
