Enable Pack as EIP for linear raw DNG files

I scan negatives using Vuescan.  I tell Vuescan to save the scanned image in "raw" format using a DNG container in my session capture folder.  The result is a linear DNG containing the output of the scanner sensor.  I use Capture One to convert from negative to positive, set white balance, adjust levels, etc.

Sometimes I'd like to transfer an edited image to a different machine.  I'd like to use "Pack as EIP" to simplify the transfer.  Capture One will not let me do that.  Pack as EIP is disabled (gray) in the Image menu.

Capture One Pro for the Mac, all versions I've tried.

  I have a similar use case on which not having support to pack DNGs as EIPs makes my life/workflow harder. Wondering if there has been any progress or thoughts on this ~2 years later.
