Capture one 21 is available

I was just checking my licences with capture one and noticed that I was able to download capture 21.

You will have to login to your account and check licence management.

Maybe it was supposed to be released today.

    Did you have to deactivate your current C1 20 license and reuse that for C1 21 or did they provide a new license?

    Yes, I followed the instructions from capture one to de-activate 20 version first and then remove all installation and then installed 21 with the purchase upgrade code I received a while ago.

    When I purchased the upgrade from 20 to 21 the licence was already changed I noticed. So Capture one 20 worked with the 21 licence. Hope that makes sense somehow.

    So far I 'm not impressed by this new upgrade. There are simply not enough new tools, maybe they run out of ideas. So it was not worth the money in my view. Next year I will not purchase without knowing what I get.

    Hi,

    Upgrade from previous version with no problems - had the new license.

    Tested it with a (copied) session and was disappointed. Slow, laggy and the famous beachball. Changed some preferences, no change.

    New run with the original session and Capture One Version 20, everything worked fine.

    Environment:

    Capture One 20 Pro, Build 13.1.3.9

    MacBook Pro Retina 15', macOS 10.15.7

    I'm on the subscription plan and have yet to receive any notice from C1.  Think I'll wait it out for a bit before attempting any upgrades.

    if you are on a monthly subscription, simply go into your profile > downloads > and find the newest version.

    Thanks, Claude.  I was able to download without a problem.

    My question is more about the license key.  Do I use the same key that authorized C1 20 or should I expect a new key that is specific to C1 21?

    On subscription plans, the licence doesn't change, it is linked to your profile
