Capture One for Fujifilm CPU intensive

My windows system is noisy, too many things running. But I just tried that, being curious. I took a Z6 (30MB) file and played with the dehaze tool. I noticed my GPU going from 1% to 4% utilization, and the CPU pretty much being in the same range as it is the whole time. There is a short spike in CPU (which is probably the point where it creates the GPU commands), but only for milliseconds.

Is hardware acceleration turned on? Maybe that got accidently turned off during the upgrade?

this is interesting, I remember searching about the Hardware acceleration function to be on or off time ago and I believe the conclusion was it was better off, but if I turn it on now it does perform better, while I mov ethe sliders the CPU still jumps at >80% but it gets back to normal right away, and now the GPU meter moves too.

Maybe it was reset and I remember wrong about the on/off search I did.

    anyway, thanks a lot
