    Yes I'm seeing this too.
    I note that the licence agreement is actually there in the
    C:\Program Files\Capture One\Capture One 21 folder and readable.

    There are two facilities One in -C: \ Program Files \ Phase One \ Capture One 20 Another in -C: \ Program Files \ Capture One \ Capture One 21 The one who is in C: \ Program Files \ Phase One \ Capture One 20 seems to work well What do I do Thank you very much

    with Windows Exporer?

    Yes no problem It opens very well . I wonder if it wasn't me who created the PHASE ONE directory at the very beginning for the first  installation. But I do not know. May be the last update was not done in this directory

    I went to C: \ Program Files \ Capture One \ Capture One 21. I opened "Capture One Software 
    License Agreement FR.rtf" in word 2010,then I saved it to the same location
    in C: \ Program Files \ Capture One \ Capture One 21.
    Previously I renamed "Capture One Software License Agreement FR.rtf"
    to "Capture One Software License Agreement FR.sos" It work and would seem to show that the file has a problem? is this a known bug? Can I remove capture one 20 (C: \ Program Files \ Phase One \ Capture One 20)
    without inconvenience with REVO UNINSTALLER PRO. Should it be deactivated first? Thank you

    The PHASE ONE directory would of been created by previous versions.
    I have:
    C:\Program Files\Phase One\Capture One 11
    C:\Program Files\Phase One\Capture One 12
    C:\Program Files\Phase One\Capture One 20
    folders.

    Halfway through v20 versions they changed the default install from the above to C:\Program Files\Capture One\Capture One 20

    Yes you can remove v20 with no problems but deactivate it first before removal.

    Maybe I would be a bit nervous about using the Revo Uninstaller with the different versions of C1 sharing so many folders/files. Just use the Windows uninstaller.

    Does not look like this small bug has been fixed in the recent 14.0.1 update.

    Since my last message I have been studying the behavior of C1 last update for importing images
    New !
    After a while c1 open but without work the import is blocked: window without images and full memory
    Unless I insert an sd card into the slot of the pc and there the photos appear in the import window (not those of the sd card but that of the directory chosen at the start)

    I can add that I can reproduce the problem by putting the pc to sleep. when coming out of standby, the import blocks as I have already said. if i put an sd card in the pc slot everything is unlocked the images appear

    Jean-Pierre I'm not seeing that problem on my machine.

    You should report it to C1 via the "submit a request page":

    though it might take some time to get an answer.

    Wondering if it might be a USB card reader power management issue.
    You could try turning off power saving for any USB root hubs you have:
    https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-14375/

    Check after reboot that power management is still off.
    If it is back on try this:

    If all this makes no difference to C1 turn everything back on.

    I confirm after trying what you said. If I open C1 at 8am for example, and I leave the pc open but without working there until 12pm, it is impossible to import. The opening of the import module causes a sudden saturation of the memory. The introduction of the sd card unblocks the problem but not always.
    I would like to know if I can
    1 Disable C1
    2 Uninstall C1 with REVO UNINSTALLER PRO
    3 Reinstall C1 and activate without problem with the key received in "pre order"

    Just a reminder that there is no official support C1 advice here, it's just user advice.

    REVO UNINSTALLER PRO should be ok if you take the obvious steps to back up all catalogs and have copies of any of your session folders for all versions of C1 that you have presently installed.

    Before deleting C1 make a copy of any styles packs and plugins you have.

    If deleting version 21,

    Keep a copy of this folder for Workspace backup:
    C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\Capture_One\CaptureOne.exe_StrongName_y3yh4brhpfi14u41fltdrpfruizxirsn

    Keep a copy of this folder for Recipies backup:
    C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Recipes120

    Keep a copy of this folder for Keyboard Shortcut backup:
    C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\CaptureOne\CustomCommands

    Might be a good idea to see if there are any driver updates for your SD card reader too.

    I cleaned everything with REVO UNINSTALLER PRO and reinstalled.
    The problem is the same: Blocking of the import after a certain working time: not at the beginning

    Did you check for an SD card reader driver update?

    Do you have another external SD card reader to try?
    Disable the problem reader in Device Manager, plug in the new one and see if it has the same problem.
