This is how to activate CaptureOne21 when you have activation issue in Windows 10

After several days fighting with captureone21 activation error message in windows 10 I finally found the way to workaround.

I have redirected activation.phaseone.com to activation.captureone.com and it works !

In windows I had to modified my host file with administrator privilege. ( windows\system32\drivers\etc ) 
I add this line at the end the host file :

23.38.170.202 activation.phaseone.com

From here it seems the problem comes from a wrong DNS configuration in the AKAMAI service so as soon as the DNS configuration will be corrected and propagated thru the whole internet then activation should work again for everyone without changing anything in the host file.

    I keep getting an incomplete profile error message when I try to activate.  It finds my profile no problem but then gives the error when I enter the correct password. 

    I am stuck with no capture one on my PC- help?
