Option to have the filename counter default to zero
ImplementedWhen switching from Lightroom to Capture One I loved that you could automate the output folder name. That's something you can't do in Lightroom. This would allow me to export my multiple exports even quicker.
In LR I still had to manually type the name of the new folder and this might seem like a small thing but for me it really is a time safer.
Unfortunately C1 keeps track of the number of exports. So if I did a few sample outputs and then when I am finished I want to do the final export the filenumbers don't start at zero.
And yes, I know that it's is possible to reset the counter and that you can even assign a keyboard shortcut but that would be an extra thing to do or to remember. When I am finished editing in the middle of the night I don't want to remember to do additional things, just as much as I didn't like to specify the output folder namen in Lightroom.
The whole goal is that C1 would safe me time but now instead of entering the folder names I have to remember to reset the counters.
So please, give us an option to just have the counter start at file 1 on every export without having to reset is.

You may have a way, e.g. through a console or additional software, to define a macro. The latter could always invoke the counter reset command before starting an export process.
While I see the point of the request, the far bigger issue for me is C1's lack of an option to overwite existing exported files. Reseting the counter is trivial compared to the effort of navigating to the export folder and manually deleting existing files.

Hi Brian,
Thank you for this suggestion.
It was taken on board as something to consider for the implementation in future versions.
