Sequential File naming in CaptureOne 9. Tethered for 360 degree-24 shot 1 to 9 missing a Zero

Fellow CaptureOne Users,

I am using CaptureOne 9 tethered with a Nikon D810 to take 24 shots in 360 degrees of shoes.
For online use, I need the numbering to be as 123456789-01 to 123456789-24 sequentially. I have not found a way to make this happen with the drop down menus. The closest that I seem to get is

123456789 1, 123456789 2, etc. up to 123456789 9 then 123456789 10

The File Names need to be sequential otherwise the pictures show up in the wrong order, or not at all.

Up until now I rename all files.Unfortunately there are 25,000 files a season. I do use a programme called NameChanger. Can you please help?

    I don't recall what Version 9 allows but in version 20 the Capture Naming token system provides a multi digit counter that does provide leading zeros where appropriate. So if one sets it to have 2 digits an starting from 1, it will offer 01, 02, 03, etc.

    You would need to reset the start number for the next 24 shot sequence I think.

    If V9 does not allow that approach then perhaps set the value to 3 digits starting at 101?

    Batch rename would then allow the generic change of, say, -101 to -01 by selecting the string "-1" and changing it to "-".

    Thank you SFA, I just needed to reset the sequence after setting the 2 digits like you'd said.

    Hi Steve,

    That's great news!

    I seem to recall that a few days back there was a thread about auto resetting the start number in some situations that sound much like yours. Might be worth finding that and maybe considering making an enhancement request for something that would save a little more time. 5 or 10 seconds per product with what sounds like 1000 products at a time would add up to quite a lot of saved time.

    It might be something that fits very well with some of the Enterprise version special features.

    To whom must I make such an enhancement request? What do you mean "Enterprise version special features"?

    Are you expressing incorporating the features into the newest version of CaptureOne as an option in the drop down

    possibilities? I will have another look to see if I can find the thread about auto resetting the start number.

    You are right, it would be a big help not to have to do it manually a thousand times. The preeminence of online shop

    production has increased the necessity for an even greater effective time management.

    The high end production still needs to get done. My best wishes and stay healthy! Steve
