test print reproduction
I can't set a white point without blowing out quarter tone detail. I've attached a pic to show my results. The upper right is the image I shot and taped to the one I printed to the lower left. On my print the white paper is gray and the image is over-saturated and overexposed. If I set a white point on the gray color, to get to the paper color, I'm way overexposed. Is this normal? Or am I missing something? thanks,

it would help to answer you question when you could provide some more information. at default c1 is not setup to do accurate repro work and just adjusting the whitepoint will not work. so do you have custom made profiles for camera and printer ? what rendering intend do you use for printing ? in general I would say visually matching repro work is not as easy as it seems and compromisses have to be made especially for the paper white point.
