    Hi Romain,

    Thank you for the post.

We have several requests about Capture One version for iPad indeed, so it is being under consideration.

That is true that we cannot comment on any future release. In case there would be Capture One version for iPad, this will be later reflected in the release notes.

Hi Lily. I just wanted to echo what Romain said. I use a MacPro tower for my daily driver and haul it on location for big jobs and it’s a giant pain. I use a 13” MBP for smaller jobs and that’s just ok. I would really really love a version of CP1 that allows me to tether into my iPadPro. With all the hubs available I would use an external drive connected to usb, and would tether a session directly to the external drive. Keyboard and mouse support would be necessary too. Then when the session is done, I’d copy to the tower when I got home. I wouldn’t need full CP1, but some light edits, simple jpg export to share with clients on set if needed, and the folder structure to copy to my main machine. This would be the perfect setup for smaller location shoots! Thanks for listening to our feature requests!

As someone who made the switch to all Apple ecosystem recently after working on Windows since the early 90's, I'm dumbfounded as to why Capture One isn't already on iOS.  Even a version of C1 Express app I would happily pay $ for if I could sync my sessions from the iPad to the cloud and then bring that in to my full C1 app on my desktop.  The horror stories I keep hearing of corrupted LR Catalog files is what finally pushed me to use Capture One, but as some else has said, Capture One seems to be stuck in the past and we as mobile content creators need to be able to work with the latest tech (I mean seriously!?  How long has the iPad been around!?)

As a documentary photographer, I tend to travel a fair amount for my work and need the ability to work efficiently - the iPad/iPad Pro provides a tactile experience that a laptop or desktop doesn't provide.  Watching videos of other photographers editing in Lightroom on their iPads leaves me wanting for the same experience with Capture One.  I paid good money for the full version since I shoot Olympus camera and all I really need is a "C1 Lite" iOS version of some kind that will allow Sessions to be created and have those then be imported into my master full app on my M1 based Mac mini...

I know the moderator has said "We have several requests about Capture One version for iPad indeed, so it is being under consideration." but that is an ambiguous statement - much the same as what politicians give.

TBH, if I could ask for a refund on my recent purchase of C1, I'd request it - I love it on the desktop, but the lack of mobile integration has me begrudgingly revisiting Adobe's mobile options...

Please prove me wrong about C1
