Exporting photo without applying adjustment layers

Quick update: I went back and chose another of the Mt. Fuji photos I took and used a Clone Layer, with no Healing Layer, and obtained the same results. No signs of the adjustments made in the Clone Layer, on the exported image.

I also installed CO 20 and using the same base photo, applied adjustments with the same two adjustment layers, which were presented on the processed image. This was still on the new 2020 Mac Mini M1 running on Big Sur, so there doesn't seem a likely correlation between the originally described export issues and the new OS or hardware.

    Dear Lee,

I feel you with the failing edits during exporting. Same issue here with the M1 although using CO21. I even delivered these faulty images to a client, after not checking thoroughly.

I did find a (temporary) solution by disabling Hardware Acceleration when Processing. At the Preferences > General, choose the option Never at Processing. Hope this will help for you too.

Moreover, I hope this severe issue can get a priority ticket at CO. Keep up the great work!

    Cheers,

    Hi Maarten,
Oh no, hope your client was understanding.
Good find on the temp solution! I’ll give that a go tomorrow and see if that will work on my system.
I also submitted a ticket on this issue to CO. Hopefully with all of us making reports on the issues they can get it resolved quickly!
Take good care and stay safe!

    Lee & Maarten,

I came across the same issue having an M1 MacBook Air and C21. I disabled the hardware acceleration at processing and the healing did work, so thank you for that tip!

    Thanks for the work round.
