Keeping C1 Pro V20 subscripiton is still worth it?

Since the huge confusion originated by the worst marketing communication I have ever seen, I kindly ask if someone can see ANY REASON to keep a subscription to V20 when:
1 - V20 will not receive any updates from now on
2 - V20 will not get any lens and cameras updates
3 - V20 users will not get any support 
4 - V20 is basically a dead software

Can sameone explain me the need to keep a subscrition active? But most of all, what grants CapureOne, hence FAST SPRING the right to keep asking money for a discontinued product???

This new co is very disappointing and liable to civil suit.

    Subscription users are always entitled to the latest version of C1, ie v21, without any further cost to them, apart from their current ongoing subscription fee.

    Is there some reason you would prefer to stay with v20?

    I know subscribers are entitled to the latest verdion of C1, V21 included BUT with this upgrade, the subscription cost has doubled.
    In my opinion, this policy cannot be considered compliant with a subscription plan where it is assumed that the price will not change over timeyfor the same product.
    At least, this is what I understand reading the continuous flood of mktg emails I get from Fast Spring

    I don't remember the old subscription costs but a doubling in subscription cost sounds excessive.
    What where you paying before and on what plan?

    Sure, since the beginning of my subscription (years ago), I am paying 12€/month.
    For V21 the subscription its up to 24€!
