Failure of New Registration Code to Open any Version of CO

Please send me a registraton code to open my CO 20 version. You have been paid. I have the receipt. I have provided the transaction #. I understand CO 21 is not released. I have read and reread your guide. Clearly I do not have a working number.

Is this your way of saying we just don't want you as a customer anymore? After years of trying to master CO I guess I can try to go back to Adobe LR. Is that what you really want?

    Please send help-today.

Well after hours of trying over and over, either you finally solve your server registration block or I just got lucky-so I now have a version of CO 20 running. Scared to imagine what will happen when I must restart my computer. There appear actually three different codes required. A CO password which cannot be reliably reset, an activation code which is supposed to be entered into a profile website I never did find and the actual registration code which supposedly allows use of the older version which you directed was to be deactivated in your repeated support guide. I lost seven days of work fooling with this and I guess you can put me in the very unhappy customer category, not that it ever appeared you cared.

Joe, we -- the members of this forum -- are not Capture One.  We are fellow Capture One users who sometimes can help each other. I suppose there may be some Capture One people who visit the forum, but with very few exceptions you wouldn't know.

When you need explicit help from Capture One click on the "Submit a request" link on the upper right of each page in the forum.  That will go to Capture One support.

Marco thank you for the clarification. I attempted multiple requests for support and never got any response other than the assignment of a case number. I am sorry if I hurt any feelings in the forum. My frustration was palpable. Actually it was a member of the forum who a few hours ago said he had solved the same problem I had been experiencing but simply and repeated trying the activation process. Again, thanks.

This is a long shot but have you tried a different browser?

Or, as an alternative, try deleting all of the cookies set through your regular browser that relate to Capture One.

The Activation code (also acting as the" license" code) is the only code you need providing the login works.

The most recently provided code should also activate earlier versions if required. Old activation keys, is you have any, will no longer work nor are they needed.

Added: I did read that you have resolved the problem but suspect that this sort of issue may recur if there is an issue with saved cookies. And I suspect there is given that logging in to the forum is problematic for me using Firefox unless I have previously logged in that day. (or within 24 hours. Not sure which.)

I see a JSON related error message via Firefox. Other logins may not display the error even if they are affected by it.

Deleting the  www.captureone.com  website related cookies (ignore the auto created link in this comment) seems to make things work again.
