Smugmug Integration
Absolutely love the color control and editing features of C1. Far superior to Lightroom. But I still must lean on LR to organize my catalog and galleries, because I have hundreds of client galleries sync'd with Smugmug. At what point on the C1 timeline is there expected to be a rich publishing plug in for SmugMug?

Paul,
Two initial observations before I attempt to offer a response.
Firstly this is, primarily, a User to User forum and not an official support site so there will be little that most users could offer.
Secondly Capture One have long operated in a way that means they do not comment on future plans or lack of them.
If you want to tempt them to try ... the path to an official response is via a Support Case which can be created using the "Submit a request" option found on most Community web pages.
Now to the answer the question is far as such a question about inter-application integration can be answered.
"When someone writes a usable application."
In this case it would presumably have to be acceptable to both Capture One and Smug Mug.
I would suggest the Plug-in route and the SDK the C1 makes available to interested parties would be the starting point but presumably SmugMug are not in that business unless they see significant commercial opportunity (they might have seen that from the "deal" that was around a while back. Then again they might not. Who knows?)
I have never seen any obvious sign that C1 are about to dive into plug-in creation activity other than when they converted the old "Edit With" and "Open with" features to be Plug-in based.
I'm not sure where a third party developer might fit in to this particular need.
I could understand possible third party interest at Adobe scale of operations but it may not be so attractive to other developers unless they could easily adapt and existing product. How would they be able to take a cut to allow at least maintenance and hopefully a little further development of their product?
