Correction layer not working

FirstName LastName

After I add a correction layer, I can't zoom further than 33%, because then the photo become a black screen.

    Is it possible that you have the greyscale mask turned on? Trying pressing M on the keyboard to get the regular mask and then again to turn it off. (Alt-M gets the greyscale mask and it's possible you pressed those keys by mistake. If you have drawn no mask yet, then you would see a black screen.)
