Can not install trial version

I got 6 files in the W10 download folder: Unconfirmed 42189.crdownload ... and so on. But no automatically started installation program, or what so ever, that makes sense. 
How can I make it work? I can not find something in the topic drop down list, so I took the closest one, Feature Requests.

    For my windows 7 system a successful download consists of one .exe file.

    Assuming you are downloading the Windows version directly from the Capture One web site I would suggest trying again to see if what you receive looks any different.

    I restarted MS Edge, and then I saw the downloading indication of the C1 .exe. It works now. 
    Still not understanding what went on, however, it functions now,
