Help new 21 "not responding " during install / setup process

Pease can anyone help me ?

 

I recently downloaded the new 21...

 

during instal, with the first openning attempt , i stupidly clicked "yes" when it asked me if i wanted to restore photos or something from my 21 version.. since then it gets stuck in the process, i get the rainbow circle, and it goes to program not responding and i have to force quit..

 

I have tried to delet ethe old 20 and 21 files, 

 

i re-dowloaded the 21 again -

 

and it still somehow remebers i clicked that box and tries it and gets stuck - I have cleitns work that i need to edit and cant - Ive tried emailing support 5 times but no reply in 4 days...

 

IM really stressing...

 

what shall i do ... do i need to erase / delete something deeper ? i just dont know how...

On Macbook running high seirra bought last year with top RAM etc - so in theory it shouldnt be jamming / not being able to handle it...

    Have you tried to start Capture One option key pressed?

    That should give prompt to select new catalog/session, maybe you could go forward with new empty catalog.
