Where to find Capture One pro 8 under OSX 10.11.6

Hello to the all community,

 

 

After an upgrade to my OSX version, I cannot use anymore my Capture one pro 7 ? And the only one I can work with would be the Pro 8 version. But apparently, I can't upgrade my Mac directly using the Capture One operating system net work.

 

So my question is, where I can find the link to download capture One Pro 8?

    Do you have a license activation code for V8?

    Regarding a licensed key, the only one I have is about my Capture One pro 7.

    Hi Olivier,

    I would not expect V8 to run with a V7 license code even if you can obtain a link for a download location.

    Only the latest version is available to purchase.

    I am a Windows users so I have no specific knowledge about Mac OS changes and options for Capture One versions. Maybe another forum User has some answers for you about that.

    However based on information in the Release notes for V21 support is only available as far back as macOS 10.13.

    Hello SFA,

     

    You are right, about V8 running with a V7 License. But it's not what I would like, the things is I would like to get V8, because V7 won't work using El Capitan OSX operating system.

     

    So, my problem is about finding V8 version, or to be more clear, where I can purchase a V8 version. Do Capture one still offer this possibilities?

    The fact is I already purchased V7 license a couple of years ago, and this purchased wasn't related to a subscription, so I own this license.

    The problem is when I want to activate my license key with the V7 version I have, I have the same message from Capture One who told me that my password or email that I enter is not correct.

    Big mystery...

    Where were you able to purchase Capture One 7 a couple of years ago? A couple of years ago (that is, at the end of 2018) they would have been selling Capture One 12.

    I did purchase my Capture One Pro 7 version directly on the capture One web site. It was on 1 August 2014 to be precise. I have the invoice. That was my a couple of years ago version...

    The latest osx operating system I could download on my mac was El Capitan. Unfortunately this osx is not compatible with my V7. There is a way thought to make things work again, and this would be to downgrade my OSX version and get back from El Capitan to Mavericks OSX operating system. This will make work my V7.

    Time flies when you are enjoying yourself! Where did those 6 years go?

    I'd suggest that you contact support and ask where there is some way you could purchase the latest version that works with your computer.
