Capture One 21 won't render previews of 6000 DPI scans at average of 35MB per image.

    Did you scan to RGB or to Grayscale.  Capture One doesn't do Grayscale.  My scans are always 48-bit RGB, even for B&W images.   Waste of bits, but it is what it is.

    Also, the DPI is irrelevant to this issue.  All capture one will know is the picture is X pixels wide and Y pixels tall.

    If you scanned to RGB color space what format did you use.  I've never used Photoshop with my V600 so don't know what might be going on there.

    I would never have guessed that Capture One wasn't Grayscale friendly!

    I did scan them in Grayscale.... over 2,000 scans of them.

    You seriously demystified the question I had! Thank-you so much! (Or rather Mahalo Nui Loa from here in Hawaii)

    Additionally I wonder why Capture One does not state this issue more prominently as I'm sure they have a lot of photographers who work with B&W images that are results of scans!

    Before we put all blame on C1, it would be helpful to know which file format you saved the images in.
