Moving to another computer
Hi,
I've been using CO for a while now, and I'm enjoying it ;-). Recently I bought another laptop and installed CO on it. When loading the catalogs, all the keywords were missing!
I did some browsing and I saw the answer to copy the .../AppData/Local/CaptureOne to the new laptop. So I did. But the keywords still seems to be gone.
Do I have to copy other directories?
And just te be sure, I haven't imported any new images yet (but I want to...).
With kind regards,
Sven.

To be honest I am not sure. If you create a new library the it seems to be stored under the folder you suggest in your post, but where C1 keeps the keyword library that it creates on installation I am not sure, I am as stumped as you😉.
If you click the three dots in the keyword library tool and go to online help then, there is a lot of resource on keywords and libraries.

Sven,
If you open an existing Catalogue (or session) keywords are dynamically read from the contents of the "Document" - Catalog or Session.
If you have used KW's in another application and have Sidecar files from that application that are populated with the KW's so that they can be shared with other, compatible, applications that should be possible but you would need to check that the sidecars are in place and that the Preferences settings for Metadata are set how you need them to be set.
If you have purchased or otherwise obtained pre-prepared Keyword Libraries they should, as far as I recall, be part of the folder set that you have copied for the Appdata area.
Does this help?
