Are exported JPEG XR files 4:2:0, 4:4:4 or RGB?
I am in need of a way to export lossy JPEG XR in 16bpp without chroma compression.
Does CapOne export JXR with full chroma?
Thank You.

It looks like a yes for JPEG XR in 16 bit, not sure what you mean by without chroma compression.

Doesn't YUV require 24bpp?

Don't know how useful any jpeg xr out of C1 are going to be.
Exported a couple and Photoshop, DXO PL4 and da Vinci Resolve 17 did not recognize them.
They did open in Windows native Photos app though.0 -

With interest piqued a ran a search and came up with this article.

Interesting.
It's clear now why you get it to open in Windows.
@OP
Sorry - somewhat off topic.
Presumably you could create a file and check it somehow and answer you question that way?

Ok, I just needed to install the Microsoft plugin to get them working in Photoshop.
So that's one down.https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52369
