styles not appearing in C-1

There are inconsistencies in the way that styles show up. I often download free styles from Pix a Photo. I arrange them in folders in app data and sometimes they show up correctly in capture one and sometimes not. There may be one style missing or an entire folder missing in Capture One. Does anyone have any insight on this? Thank you
