Two entries disappeared from "Recent Imports" collection.

I can see the photos from the two "missing" recent imports e.g. in "All images" catalog, but almost all adjustments are gone. I've go no catalog backup. What happend? Are there any logs or recovery procedures available?

    That sort of sounds like you are opening a backup. 

    I don't thing the Recent imports collection (just a reference list of a specific import set of files) disappearing should have any effect on the existence of the images (obviously still there) or the edit records for them.

    Have you already tried verifying the catalog?

    I've just verified the catalog and the missing entries re-appeared! It has been a very pleasant surprise since the verification ended with "Data Base, OK" message, I didn't notice any "repair" action in the displayed text so initially I thought it had no effect.
