C21 - so sluggish when reading the photos

I put C21 on my PC computer. It is so incredibly slow when displaying a photo from the catalogue - takes 5 - 20 seconds before the blur ends and the photo is shown normally. Next photo - the same. WTF ? Hard to imagine more powerful computer than I have (i9 10 core, 64 GB RAM, RTX 3090 graphic card). How can it work like this  ??

    Definitely seems there is a performance regression is 21. The interface freezes up after certain operations randomly. If I process output of several files it will output one and then randomly hang, must hit some timeout threshold and then continues to process the rest. 

    I'm using the trial version while I decided whether to upgrade. I'll wait until this gets figured out.

    I have this sometimes as well, and i have the fastest graphics card on this machine (an nvidia 3090). But a reboot normally helps, and i am not convinced it's capture one or the nvidia driver. Either way, sometimes loading images until they are sharp takes forever.

    Is there a bug for this already? Otherwise we should be filing one.

    I also have this problem.  C21 is so slow when reading the photos, even from an SSD.  Previous version was faster.  Speed was part of the reason I switched from Lightroom.
