Help with NEF files location after HDD crash

I need some help with 3500 NEF files restored from a external crashed HD. The files have a new name after the recovering process and C1.10 can't localise the files anymore.

I tried to rename the all lot to the name i choosed at importation but there is a problem with the numbers: the new files have a increment of 1 and the original files had some jumps between files due to the deleting with my camera by shooting. So it's impossible to go further with this rename solution without taking one file at a time! 

Is there another way to create the dead link again? Or do i need to import the all lot again and restart the selection and settings from the beginning?

Could the last C1 version help me in my situation?

    I think the only thing that could help you would be if you have a backup copy of all the files as they were originally named.

    However there may be some others here who know of alternative approaches to the problem.
