Strange behavior (noise and artifacts) when zooming

Setup:
Camera: Leica M10-Monochrome, FW: 2.12.8.0, DNG file
Exp: ISO 160, f/16, 1/1s. Leica Summilux 35mm/1.4
SW: C1 Build 14.0.1.5. (Windows 10 Pro)

Editing Actions:

1) Linear Gradient mask added, Luma Range applied. Mask rasterized to cover the sky only. Zoom at this stage will not cause distortion/artifacts.

2) A healing Mask applied

Now Zooming leads to all kinds of artifacts and noise in the image, unless the mask is set to be visible.

This bug actually makes it a bit difficult to work with the Heal Layer feature. I wonder whether this bug is related to insufficient integration of the Leica M10-Monochrome sensor? I guess this bug would have been found in case it appeared on cameras with a higher market share than Leica. Anyways, in case I was part of the bug squad I would grant tis bug high or even highest priority.
I actually started using C1 more than 5 years ago with my Nikon D810 and later on D5 and now D850. With Nikon I'm not experiencing as many errors in C1 as with my Leicas. Sadly, I'm wondering whether or not to move towards less error prone editing SW as the level of errors is pretty close to exceed my threshold.

Perhaps Mr. Wahlgreen should be granted more resources for the verification part of the development projects? I can offer my self as a beta-tester on 3 different Leica models: M10-R (when supported), M10-Monochrome and Q2.
And if C1 would accepts me as a beta tester (actually a System Tester) I might even execute manual tests in accordance with C1 test specifications. Try me out! I might even have suggestions for additional test scenarios or improvements the the currents ones?

I do have experience with JIRA for bug reporting and Polarion for requirement management within complex medical systems.

    This is a known bug related to Heal Layers. Try disabling the heal layer while zoomed in. This isn't a fix of course, but it should allow the image to display without the artefacts. C1 have acknowledged this is one of several bugs related to heal layers but they refuse to say if they're likely to fix it.

    One thing you may want to do (if practical for your workflow) is go into preferences and set the preview size to 5120px (and then regenerate previews). While this won't fix the problem, you should be able to zoom in further before the artefacts appear.
