This workaround works - until C1 will support our cams. Hopefully in the near future!

It´s free and there are no hooks attached.

Stefan, I cannot confirm that there are no hooks attached.

Modifying the EXIF metadata to camera model "Nikon Z 6" makes Capture One read the files, but since the camera is not officially supported and not profiled, this shows in the pictures (e.g. I've seen artifacts, moiré, decreased details, color misrepresentation). Nikon Z6 and Z6 II may share the same sensor, but the sensor data is not 1:1 the same.

If the solution was as easy as changing an EXIF text string from "Nikon Z 6" to "Nikon Z 6_2", then I am sure Capture One would already support the 2nd gen Z6.

Be aware that with the pictures developed with "hacked metadata" you will see degraded quality.. and might have to RAW develop again once the Z6 II has been profiled and is officially supported.

Out of necessity - I need to edit family holiday photos - I switched to a French competitor product which supports Z6 II and get superb results. Capture One is losing customers over this unfortunately.

I know this solution isn't a elegant as working with the correct profile but better than no solution at all. Btw, I'm using the French Competitor and another one, beginning with L, ending with oom, also. C1 is late to this party...
