Capture One 21

I watched the webinar on layers yesterday 21/01/21, during the Video David used the shortcut Ctrl+Alt and a swipe on the trackpad to change the brush settings flow opacity size, etc. Is this specific to C.O 21 or can it be used in C.O 20? If so could someone tell me how to enable this on  C.O 20?
