Loading Images Dialog Box

Whenever I create a new session, I get a dialog box that looks like this, and that dialog box never goes away.  Any ideas?

    It is opening the catalogue

    A new session. I import images but none of the other menu items are available so I have to force quit the application and re-open Nd hope it doesn’t do the same thing.

    Are you starting with a new and empty session or are you starting using a template?

    Creating a new session, and then, when naming it, I choose a template that I created.

    What happens when you create the session without a template? Possibly there is something wrong / weird with your template?

    That's a great idea Johannes.

    Before I did that, I just tried to create a new catalog with the template one more time and this time it worked.  I wanted to see if I tried again.

    But SO many times I get that issue and I can't even quit CaptureOne, I have to force quit it.  

    So I don't think it's the template. . but that was a great thought!
